This is a well run hotel (well really a motel) with exterior doors but many are centered around an outdoor courtyard and indoor pool building with a very large pool. There is also a Mexican Restaurant on the property and the hotel features a continental breakfast. This hotel is only 4-5 miles from Skiing (and tubing) at Shawnee Ski Resort the Poconos second largest ski area. It is also near many restaurants (about 12) and only about 4 miles from the nightlife of downtown Stroudsburg. Golf, shopping, restaurants, kids attractions, & more are nearby. It is the closest value hotel near Camelback skiing & snow tubing, a 100 store outlet complex for shopping, 10 restaurants within 5 miles, and near other Poconos attractions like horseback riding, atving, and snowmobiling. (Dog sledding is only about 5 miles away at Pocono Manor. There is a selection of clubs for nightlife within 5 miles. We suggest The Tannersville Inn - a former stage coach stop with live entertainment and a unique atmosphere.
